CRA 2015 Statutory Protection
Free Defect Returns
Secure Process

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to products purchased directly from bamae and covers manufacturing defects and shipping errors for the original purchaser in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

2. Warranty Period and Coverage Scope

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods from delivery for a full refund if products are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described. Products must remain unopened and in factory-sealed condition to qualify for change-of-mind returns under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3. What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Goods not of satisfactory quality (Consumer Rights Act 2015, sections 9 and 19)
  • Goods not fit for purpose or as described
  • Shipping damage (reported within 24 hours)
  • Incorrect shipments

Approved claims are resolved via replacement, repair, or refund as required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

4. What Is Not Covered

  • Customer-caused damage or misuse
  • Improper installation or failure to follow manufacturer instructions
  • Cosmetic packaging issues that do not affect product functionality
  • Normal wear and tear or environmental damage
  • Products modified or repaired by unauthorised third parties

5. Warranty Claim Process

  • Contact our support team within 30 days of discovering the fault
  • Provide your order number, delivery date, and photographic evidence of the defect
  • Your claim will be reviewed and evaluated within 2 working days
  • Resolution will be issued in accordance with your statutory rights (replacement, repair, or refund)

6. Remedy and Resolution

We provide replacement, repair, or refund depending on the nature of the fault and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For faulty goods within the first 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund. After 30 days, we will offer repair or replacement, and if that is not possible or takes too long, a price reduction or final right to reject.

7. Return and Inspection

Return shipping is covered by bamae for valid warranty claims relating to defective or faulty goods. For change-of-mind returns under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you are responsible for the direct cost of return as permitted by regulation 35(5).

8. Manufacturer Warranty Coordination

We may coordinate with manufacturers for additional warranty coverage beyond the statutory minimum. Any manufacturer warranty is in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights under UK law.

9. Safety and Compliance

All warranty handling follows applicable UK safety and regulatory standards. Products comply with relevant UK product safety legislation. Refrigerants are handled in accordance with F-Gas regulations and environmental protection requirements.

10. Commercial Orders

Bulk or commercial orders may have separate warranty agreements. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies only to consumer purchases. Business-to-business sales are governed by the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and separate terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law. Subject to that, our liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product.

12. Warranty Transfer

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are personal to you as the original purchaser. This commercial warranty is non-transferable.

13. Record Keeping

Please retain your order confirmation, invoice, and delivery documentation for warranty claims. We recommend keeping records for at least six years, which is the limitation period for bringing a claim in England and Wales under the Limitation Act 1980.
